To suggest that having a border results in the death of people is absolutely absurd. Why would it be the fault of the US border policy (which protects the sovereignty of this nation) that deaths occur when nationals of Mexico, illegally crossing the border through a desert, die of dehydration and exposure to heat? Shouldn't the blame be placed on the "coyotes" that take their hard-earned money, only to leave them lost and stranded in an oven? Why aren't their deaths the fault of the corrupt government of Mexico (that rapes its own people of their dignity and their future and leaves them no choice but to risk dying in the heat of a vast desert in order to feed their families)? Why does this debate always focus on what the American government isn’t doing for the Mexican people and not on why the MEXICAN government doesn’t do MORE for the MEXICAN people? Sooner or later Americans are going to get real tired of Mexico trying to colonize our country. Gun sales have increased 500% in the DC area over the past two weeks. Gun sales went up 100 fold in this country in the weeks following September 11. The United States has this little thing called the Second Ammendment, that Mexicans must be blissfully unaware of, and how near and dear it is to the American heart. It was written into our Constitution for just exactly what Mexicans are doing to this country. The way gun sales have increased is a pretty clear indication that Americans are developing the frame of mind for which our Second Ammendment was intended.
Our leaders, bless their traitorous little hearts, were very much aware of the civil unrest among the "silent majority" as long ago as 1985. They stated clearly and unequivocally in their delberations that they must do something or they would have an American revolution on their hands. That is what brought about giving Mexicans an amnesty in 1986, with the promise to the American people that it would be a one time event and that they would take control over our borders and stop this invasion of our country. They haven't done that.

Just in case Mexicans have forgotten, 3,000 people were murdered in this country last year. To really understand the true reasons that anyone would want to leave their country of birth and enter another country you must first look into the basics. One must compare the Birth Country with that of the country he/she attempts to enter into. In this case I will use Mexico and the United States of America.

Mexico has a quasi democratic system of government with only recently the country’s people seen a change of party leadership in its top political post (The Presidency), which since the country’s last revolution hadn’t.

Mexico’s Government has failed over the years of PRI to live up to its very reasons to overthrow the then President Porflio Diez (forgive the type’o), which was:

1. To create a fare Government system that will represent all its people
2. To allow for the education of all Mexican people
3. To decrease the amount of poverty
4. To assure equal rights
5. To rid itself from the two class system (Lower and Higher)

With those things in mind the past presidents have a horrible track record. Thus can you imagine why a Mexican would want to cross into the US illegally? Although I can see their point and I feel for their situation, I think it is their own felt that their country is the way it is today.

It is too easy to solely place the blame on the government, but in truth the average day to day peasant or Mexican citizen is responsible for their country. No one is holding a gun to their heads telling them to except policies that hurt them; no one tells them to vote for the same party every election year. The people that will blame someone else are the same people that voted for those officials. If the Mexican Government allows their population to continue to work for next to nothing wages just so they can attract factories (I like to call it pimping or whoring out your work force), then the people will continue to be broke.
