They didn't bring any food, either.

The crowd laughed at them:
"HA-HA!"

What a shock, these, protesters were all white! Sure, they didn't get no free ride - just their white skin privilege!

USA Built by Immigrants
by snuffalupagus Thursday, Sep. 25, 2003 at 2:01 PM

The best point that was made inside the church that day was that the US was built on the backs of immigrants. Immigrants, slaves and the forced labor of native people.

If you don't like immigrants and what they do, then maybe YOU should leave the US.

US out of North America!

If you want to play stupid games. The Spaniards were illegal, too!!!!!!! Or is that not part of the Mexican history you know?? Were you sick from school when they taught that part of world history. Oh, sorry you probably did not go to school so I will excuse your ignorance.

Sticks and Stones
by Leftist Twinkie Tuesday, Sep. 30, 2003 at 4:09 PM

I paid attention in school, but there was no actual history taught there.

Yes, the Spanish were terrible conquerers and did atrocious things to the native people. But in Mexico, there was more integration with the native population. There is still a lot of indigenous rebellious spirit in the people of Mexico and it is something that we can all learn from.

In the US, we murdered most natives and destroyed their culture wherever we went to a greater extent than even the Spanish.

"The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact, non-Westerners never do."
