October Schedule:
13th- City of God
The story of gang wars that ripped apart a Brazilian shanty town in the 1970's. Told through the eyes of a young photojournalist intimately involved in the wars.
20th- Miami Mode
A documentary about the FTAA protests in Miami in November 2003. It examines the events surrounding and leading up to the meetings and protests and the different groups who were there. It also highlights the propaganda tactics used by the main stream news networks.
27th- Fahrenheit 451
Based on the famous Ray Bradbury dystopia novel about a man pursuing independent thought in a society ruled by censorship.
The movies show @ 7pm in our cozy little room
Bring a blankie and stuffed animal.
