Come for 2 nights of Free Movies and snuggling at The Catalyst
-- 7pm, Thursday, Oct 28, at The Catalyst is the old classic Farenheit 451. It's the screen adaptation of Ray Bradbury's dystopia novel about a man pursuing independent thought in a society ruled by censorship.
-- 7pm, Friday, Oct 29, at The Catalyst is Hijacking Catastrophe. This video examines how the events of 9/11 have advanced a pre-existing agenda to radically transform US foreign policy while rolling back civil liberties and social programs at home.
If you can't make it to our showing of Hijacking Catastrophe, you can see it at 2pm, Thursday, Oct 28, at the Public Library, third floor. Or you can tune in to Channel 13 at 11pm on Monday, Nov 1. But you will have to make your own popcorn.
For all of you who haven't yet seen Farenheit 9-11, here's your chance: it will be shown at the public library, third floor at 11am on Saturday, Oct 30 and again at 2pm on Sunday, Oct 31.
Enjoy the movies... Don't scare the little kids too bad when they come around on Halloween... And no matter who wins on November 2nd, be prepared for an uphill battle...
