I went up from Tempe to photograph the protest and I am unsure I will be able to follow future proests or court dates. I am happy that you enjoyed the pictures, though.
There are many, many other photos taken at the event, but these are just 9 chosen quickly.
It was nice meeting some of the people there in Prescott from so many different places and I would love to hear from anyone who was there or not.
Have a nice day. :)

Looking to research effect of pharmaceuticals in the waste water on life forms on the peaks. I remember a study from England about waste water leading to frogs born with indistinguishable nonfunctional sex organ leading to death of life forms.

I want you to all know that you're still being heard. I just moved to SLC and Babbitt was here today, greeted by protestors, I felt like I was still in Arizona. We need to keep having our voices heard!!! It's great to see the southwest screaming together. LOVE PEACE AND MOUNTAINS

Spiritual awakening

My spiritual awakening from global warming came in year 2000 while working the soil, and after exchanging concerns about climate change with Mike Neuman, my brother.

"I had a conversion experience on the climate issue not unlike my conversion to Christ," Richard Cizik, vice president for governmental affairs at the National Association of Evangelicals, told the environmental magazine Grist. "I was at a conference in Oxford where Sir John Houghton, an evangelical scientist, was presenting evidence of shrinking ice caps, temperatures tracked for millennia through ice-core data, increasing hurricane intensity, drought patterns, and soon. I realized all at once, with sudden awe, that climate change is a phenomenon of truly biblical proportions."

sacred connections

The Peaks issue is connected and driven by its connections to the other issues that we face, environmentally and socially.
The value system that allows or benefits from allowing such environmental and cultural destruction shows its face in issues like this. I think we all know that the roots are deep, but if we dig at issues like this and win, then we have a victory for all.

It is great to see such support for the sacred mountain of my home. I have been away for the past few months and have missed all this action, but I am proud to consider myself apart of such a devoted and caring community. Keep it up people, we have a mountain to save!
