Libertarian's Ross Withdraws From Governor's Race
by Campaign Headquarters Monday, Mar. 13, 2006 at 2:50 PM

Former Libertarian candidate M. Ross announced Monday he is withdrawing from the governor's race because it appears he cannot win the Libertarian nomination.

Former Libertarian candidate M. Ross announced Monday he is withdrawing from the governor's race because it appears he cannot win the Libertarian nomination.

Winning the Libertarian primary "realistically appears out of reach," said Ross.

"Many of my traditional supporters, especially in the business, women's rights and gun-owner communities, have failed to step forward to help me as they have in the past," Ross said in a statement.

"Many have simply written off the governor's race and ceded it to the incumbent. As a pro-choice Libertarian who supports individual rights for all Americans, including gay Americans, I cannot overcome the far right's dominance of the Libertarian Party without adequate support from these communities."

Ross gives reasons for withdrawal
by jimmy olsen Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2006 at 1:39 PM

Mike Ross today released a statement giving several reasons for his abrupt withdrawal from the race for Governor. "Well, for one thing, I hate all pigs...er..cops, so when their union offered support, what could I do? And then I got a call from the firemen. Those guys are always bragging about how dangerous their jobs are, then they go and spend offduty time hanging around farm animals. So, screw them, too."

The final straw, said Ross was "that if I was elected Governor I'd have to check my own handgun in at the state capitol every day. What's the point of being governor if you can't lock and loan in your own friggin' office."

Ross said that his current plans include continuing to keep the streets and public buses safe for libertarianism and the free market. Someone's got to damn well do it," Ross stated.

Ross directed further questions to former campaign manager Mr. Liberal, who said "Sorry, no more questions at this time. It's dinner time."

It's Bush's fault
by Izzy Cracey Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2006 at 2:50 PM

We at 911Truth have discovered the real reason for Mike Ross's sudden decision to drop out of the race for Arizona Governor. A plot has been uncovered -- masterminded by the same evil geniuses in the Bush Adminstration who brought you 9/11.

According to our sources, if Mike Ross had continued to run for governor, two passenger jets piloted by "iranian terrrorists" would have collided with Ross on Election Day. Additionally, explosives hidden in his shoes would detonate, bringing swift and total collapse. This would provide the Bush Administration its long-awaited excuse to invade Iran.

What proof do we have of this evil conspiracy against candidate Ross? It can all be found on our latest dvd , available for $24.95 at our month meeting. Be the first to sponsor a home showing!

Ross Decides to Buy SUV
by Seymor Lize Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2006 at 3:41 PM

Mike Ross, former candidate for Arizona State Governor decided his new project would be the purchase of an SUV. He said despite having very little money, it's worth it to him. Some say he's purchasing the vehicle to anger recent nemisis, "Mr. Liberal".

"Well, no, see, I'm not pickin' on the guy," Ross stated when questioned about his motivations. He continued, "But when Mr. Liberal makes up lies about me and says things like, 'Sheriff Joe is going to arrest me', or that I am wanted by the secect service, or that I am concerned about lambs that have sex with firemen in Mesa, or that I am sleeping with the folks that run indymedia, or that I hate the police, or that I am on sort of government welfare program and collecting government checks that pisses me off." He said he's not using government checks or welfare to purchase his SUV, which is actually a used vehicle.

Ross's main obstacle, aside from finances, is that he is opposed to being compelled to have a driver's license. "I have to find someone who will drive it to my parking spot, because I refuse to get a license."

"As long as he's not driving it, I couldn't care less," Rich, aka Mr. Liberal responded. "I'm just sick of him pretending he's a journalist and all he does is copies and pastes. So I have to go in and spam the shit out of Arizona Indymedia so that he'll stop." When asked if it has had any impact on Ross' posts, who posts as "nobody," he admits that it hasn't.

A regular user of indymedia services said they're both a nuisance. "I secretly hope that Mike Ross's purchase of an SUV makes Mr. Liberal spontaneously implode and keeps 'nobody' busy for a while."

More on SUV purchases, jack booted thugs
by Miss Pantsalot Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2006 at 10:49 PM

In further interviews with Ross about his SUV purchase he stated that not only was the buying the vehicle important, but that also, he wanted to "show the government goons and jack booted thugs- that want to kick down your door.... for not paying taxes and showing your identification" that he was a force to be reckoned with. Interviewing Ross became a task because each time the reporters around him stepped into hear Ross’s responses he then took a step away.

This just in from God
by recording angel Wednesday, Mar. 15, 2006 at 12:14 PM

Controversy over Mike Ross's run for governor and his avowed atheism has reached the highest level. When contacted for a response, God (the christian one) stated, "Mike Ross doesn't believe in me? Big whoop. I don't believe in *him.* And, should he decide to re-enter the race, I will urge all of my east valley constituents to vote against him."
