Mr. Liberal found guilty of plagiarism in fake Mike Ross press release on Indy Media
by Mike Ross Tuesday, Apr. 04, 2006 at 3:00 PM

In a bogus press release which Mr. Liberal put out that said Mike Ross was dropping out of the Governors race it turns out Mr. Liberal cut and pasted it from an Arizona Republic article and changed the name from John Greene to Mike Ross, and the party from Republican to Libertarian. In addition to slandering Mike Ross it turns out that Mr. Liberal plagiarized the whole story!

Mr. Liberal AKA Rich Halverson, Mr. Radio and NSA Spy is guilty of plagiarism in a bogus press release he put out which said that Mike Ross was dropping out of the governors race.

Mr. Liberal is also a hypocrite. Mr. Liberal is constantly making posts bitching and moaning about Nobody’s cut and pasting, but it turns out Mr. Liberal is doing a lot of cutting and pasting himself and cut and pasted an article in the March 14 issue of the Arizona Republic in which Arizona Senate President John Greene announced today he is withdrawing from the governor's race.

Mr. Liberal cut and pasted the whole article and turned it into a fake press release saying that instead of Mike Ross was dropping out of the race instead of John Greene.

When Mike Ross read the article he was hurt, insulted, and slander. But Mr. Ross though Mr. Liberal had done a good job on the fake press release. Turns out Mr. Liberal stole the whole article. Mr. Liberal didn’t write a word of it himself!

We could not locate a copy of the original Arizona Republic article but did find these two articles published at about the same time which are almost identical to the article Mr. Liberal stole and modified.

This article is from the “The Business Journal” on March 13 and written by Mike Sunnucks.

The Business Journal of Phoenix - March 13, 2006
by Mike Sunnucks
The Business Journal

Valley attorney and former state lawmaker John Greene has dropped out of this year's race for governor.

Greene, a socially moderate Republican and former state Senate president, said Monday he is ending his gubernatorial bid.

"I am withdrawing because, at this juncture, winning the Republican primary realistically appears out of reach," said Greene in a statement.

"Many of my traditional supporters, especially in the business, women's rights and gun-owner communities, have failed to step forward to help me as they have in the past. Many have simply written-off the governor's race and ceded it to the incumbent," said Greene.

Democratic Gov. Janet Napolitano is favored to win re-election in November, and Greene's efforts within the GOP failed to gain steam.

Len Munsil, the former head of the socially conservative Center for Arizona Policy, has emerged as the front-runner in the September GOP primary for governor.

Munsil supports broad-based state income and property tax cuts, and he appeals to the GOP's social conservatives via his opposition to abortion rights and same same-sex marriage.

Greene said Monday he could not "overcome the far right's dominance of the Republican Party" without more support from moderates.

Napolitano is popular with Democrats, moderate voters and has forged good relations with certain segments of the business community including professional women, high-tech advocates and downtown Phoenix boosters.

Other Republican contenders include party activist Don Goldwater, retired state judge Jan Smith Florez and Scottsdale businessman Mike Harris.

Greene is a partner with the law firm of Hahn Howard & Greene which has offices in Sun City, Phoenix and Sun City West. The firm specializes in estate planning, tax and real estate-related law.

This article was published by KPHO at about the same time:

PHOENIX Former Arizona Senate President John Greene announced today he is withdrawing from the governor's race because it appears he cannot win the Republican nomination.

Greene, a Phoenix attorney, says winning the Republican primary (quote)"realistically appears out of reach."

Greene says many of his traditional supporters, especially in the business, women's rights and gun-owner communities, didn't step forward to support him as they had in the past.

He says many apparently have apparently ceded the governor's race to incumbent Democrat Janet Napolitano.

And Greene says he thinks conservative activist Len Munsil has sewn up the Republican nomination to face Napolitano in the general eleection.

Mr. Liberal cut and pasted the article and changed it to this bogus article which he published on Indy Media announcing that “Mike Ross was withdrawing from the Governor’s race”.
Libertarian's Ross Withdraws From Governor's Race
by Campaign Headquarters Monday March 13, 2006 at 02:50 PM

Former Libertarian candidate M. Ross announced Monday he is withdrawing from the governor's race because it appears he cannot win the Libertarian nomination. Former Libertarian candidate M. Ross announced Monday he is withdrawing from the governor's race because it appears he cannot win the Libertarian nomination.

Winning the Libertarian primary "realistically appears out of reach," said Ross.

"Many of my traditional supporters, especially in the business, women's rights and gun-owner communities, have failed to step forward to help me as they have in the past," Ross said in a statement.

"Many have simply written off the governor's race and ceded it to the incumbent. As a pro-choice Libertarian who supports individual rights for all Americans, including gay Americans, I cannot overcome the far right's dominance of the Libertarian Party without adequate support from these communities."

It turns out that Mr. Liberal in addition to constantly bitching and moaning that he is also a hypocrite and cuts and pastes article just like Mr. Nobody. Isn’t that ironic that Mr. Liberal is a cut and paster just like the Mr. Nobody he is always bitching about!

Mr. Liberal has something in common with Vladimir Putin
by Associated Press Tuesday, Apr. 04, 2006 at 3:35 PM

Scholar: Putin thesis copied from book

Associated Press
Apr. 4, 2006 12:00 AM

WASHINGTON - It was 1997, and Vladimir Putin had just been summoned to Moscow to serve in Boris Yeltsin's Kremlin. The man who would become Russia's president looked to boost his credentials by earning a graduate degree.

To secure that degree, he wrote The Strategic Planning of Regional Resources Under the Formation of Market Relations. Now, a scholar at Washington's Brookings Institution says parts of that paper appear to have been copied verbatim.

Clifford Gaddy says at least 16 pages of text and some charts, tables and other graphics came from a book written two decades earlier by two U.S. professors, William King and David Cleland.

"I calculate that there are more than 16 pages worth of text taken verbatim from King and Cleland," Gaddy said. "There are six - at least six - diagrams and tables lifted directly or slightly modified from King and Cleland with no attribution whatever."

King and Cleland, wrote Strategic Planning and Policy, a textbook on business management, in 1978. Putin listed the book as a reference.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, "We do not consider it necessary to comment on such absurd accusations."

King hasn't read the paper. "I'm somewhat amused by this, although it's pathetic if Putin resorted to plagiarism to pad his credentials," he said.

Creme is the theme! No need to spend big bucks and waste good fruit while pie-ing Mr L. Nice gooey, sticky creme pies will do just fine.

As for wearing a mask -- maybe you could try a Betty Crocker or Marie Callendar mask...

If you do give him a pie in the face make sure you give him a doggy bag so he can take home the leftovers. And make sure it’s editable. No shaving cream pies. Maybe a fruit pie. I hear he is grouchy because he doesn’t eat enough fruits.
