Hundreds of Bluegrass Festival attendees were surprised when a giant 10ft Peace Whale joined the festivities Saturday night. The Peace Whale was greeted by both cheers of encouragement and boos of dissaproval as it made its way all over the downtown area. At one memorable moment, the Peace Whale took center stage in the sidewalk just below fiddlin' Bluegrass performers. Despite the Whale's upfront personal message, no one could deny it's cute, cuddly nature. Perhaps a giant Peace Butterfly or Peace Rabbit could make an appearance in your town?
