Sanctuary Not Slaughter for the Sandhill Crane

The Greater Sandhill Crane is a majestic bird revered by people from all walks of life. Each year their numbers decline. In the current management of the Sandhills, Arizona Game & Fish Dept. holds an annual lottery for 325 permits to kill these birds. On August 26th at 7pm at the Catalyst Infoshop, a short film will be shown regarding the hunting of Sandhill Crane in Arizona. Following the film there will be discussion on how people can get involved this hunting season to help ensure the sandhill cranes future survival. For more info contact: phoenixef@excite.com
