Texas City Nuke Alert (Attn: Houston FBI / Police)
by Captain Eric H. May Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at 7:43 PM

Captain Eric H. May, the Internet intelligence writer, posts an analysis of the latest, greatest false flag warning by mystery man "Ken Welch," and explains why he and his colleagues believe Ken Welch works for the FBI.

Texas City Nuke Alert
(Attn: Houston FBI / Police)

Captain Eric H. May
Military Correspondent
The Lone Star Iconoclast

The Lone Star Iconoclast has gained an international reputation for conscientious investigation of all false flag rumors and reports, many of them originating with police, military or industrial insiders. Anyone can contact us through our website, and anyone with valid intelligence suggesting a danger to the American people should do so. We have worked with -- or attempted to work with -- military commands and civilian agencies to confirm our information, while protecting our sources.

Last month, acting on verified intelligence from Southeast Texas, we issued a false flag warning of a Southeast Texas petrochemical incident three hours before a most suspicious Dow Chemical pipeline explosion in Port Arthur Texas. Our alert and the ensuing explosion became a nationwide story, and our story about it was published in Gulf Coast police newsletter. Radio journalist Theresa Mitchell gave an excellent 15 minute analysis of our work on KBOO, Portland, Oregon: http://www.kboo.fm/node/4236

Trusting in our credibility, this week readers have forwarded an alert by "Ken Welch" who claims to be in Houston. In the alert he suggests that there will be a Thanksgiving nuke attack against Texas City by the Bush administration as an excuse to begin an Iran war: http://www.ken-welch.com/Reports/Iran2.html

Having examined the alert, and having long tried to establish contact with the elusive author, we advise our readers to regard the Ken Welch report as a continuation of disinformation activities that we detailed in an Iconoclast bulletin about him last month:
http://phillyimc.org/en/2007/10/42994.shtml As we note in the bulletin, Ken Welch post no professional information, avoid explaining himself to citizens or journalists, and solicits money at his site.

The Ken Welch alert mixes valid information with invalid history and contrived methodology. For example, we agree that there is a great danger of a Southeast Texas false flag attack on the petrochemical industry by the Bush administration to start a war with Iran -- and we have been publishing that for two years. We don't believe, though, that Ken Welch (or anyone else) discovered this by listening to Bush administration speeches played backwards, as he claims to have done. In fact, after much research, we can find no instance in which Ken Welch has ever done anything effective or valid in the area of false flag warnings, predictions or analysis. His sole role appears to be muddying the waters to make it more difficult for us to do our jobs as journalists.

We can only surmise that Ken Welch is a disinformation operative, likely under direction from the Houston FBI, which has been involved with area Homeland Security in undermining serious media efforts to monitor and report a possible false flag attack in the Southeast Texas petrochemical target zone. Special Agent Shauna Dunlap (in the CC line) has been handling Media/CyberMedia disinformation activities for the Houston FBI, and she may know or control Ken Welch.

PS: As we have published elsewhere, we are prepared to retract every word we have written about Ken Welch if he will contact us to explain who he is and what he is doing. Indeed, if Welch's motives are honorable ones, they will find in the Iconoclast an excellent venue for getting out his message. We also invite the Houston FBI to contact us if they would like to clarify anything.
