Where: The Tribe! House, 2238 N. 24th St.
Celebrate with us 24 years of the Zapatista struggle for democracy,
freedom and justice. Join us on Thursday March 13 at 7:00PM
at the Tribe! House at 2238 N. 24th St. near downtown Phoenix, AZ.
The main feature of the event is the presence of the Author Gloria
Munoz Ramirez, author of La Jornada, Rebeldia magazine and the book
El Fuego y La Palabra(The Fire and The Word) which is a bilingual detailed history of the
movement. You can buy the book at the event and meet the author.
This event will exhibit one of the the most comprehensive collection
of photographs and videos of the inspiring EZLN movement. We will
have for sale a wonderful compilation of Zapatista music on a 4 Disc
CD set.
Come help us fundraise. Books and CDs will be for sale and all
monetary donations are welcome. All proceeds will directly benefit
the Zapatista Communities.
