why no coverage of wednesday's demo at McCain's office?

Hundreds were present, including the usual Indymedia photographers, but no coverage here?
I attended the wednesday afternoon and evening (3/19/08) demonstration outside Senator McCain's Phoenix office marking the fifth anniversary of the start of the war in Iraq. The crowds stretched for nearly two blocks on both sides of 16th Street. Hundreds were present, including the usual Indymedia photographers, but I see no coverage here, and I think I know why.
The demonstration was anti-war, and there were no counterdemonstrators. Public sentiment was overwhelmingly on our side. I heard only two negative reactions from passing motorists the whole time I was there. There was one aspect of the demonstration that was unlike any previous anti-war demonstration I have ever attended in the Phoenix area: MOST OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE WERE RIGHT-WING. That, I think, is what Arizona Indymedia finds embarassing about it.
Numerous people in attendance were wearing Ron Paul T-shirts. Several were carrying a large sign reading, "Conservatives against McCain." One young man with a shaved head was openly carrying a pistol. One older man, seeing me carrying the Palestinian flag, walked up to me and said, "Mel Gibson was right."
One of the speakers was a conservative Mormon Republican state senator from Mesa.
Indymedia should celebrate this, not be embarassed. Anti-war demonstrations aren't just for pinko liberal pacifists anymore!

The principle of indymedia is grassroots, DIY journalism. the whole idea is that nobody reports on things for you, you do it yourself. So, your question is, why hasn't anyone covered Wednesday's protest outside of John McCain's office? It looks like you just did.

Ok- you are ridiculous. Stop the divide and conquer junk- do you know WHY most people whom actually care about change weren't there? (besides most folks having jobs, etc)
