***Please Forward***
Remember that lie about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction, and how it needed regime change, and, thus, the US should invade? Well, the same folks that brought us that whopper are telling us now that Venezuela is turning into a dictatorship, that it sponsors terrorism, and that it is clamping down on freedom of speech--and that Venezuela needs regime change.
The truth, however, is entirely different. Maybe...just, maybe...we should find out the truth ahead of time this time....
AND HERE'S YOUR CHANCE!!!
Come to SALT OF THE EARTH LABOR COLLEGE(1902 E. Irene Vista), THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 11TH, AT 6:30 PM for the Premier of part-time Tucsonan, Greg Miller's new video LA REVOLUCION COMUNICATIVA (in Spanish and English), about freedom of speech and revolutionary change in Venezuela. FREE, but donations encouraged and gladly accepted!
April 11th is the anniversary of the US sponsored, two-day coup against Venezuelan democracy--which was defeated when one million residents of the Caracas barrios poured into the streets to demand the return of their elected government.
Following this short film, we will watch THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED. This is the best, most dramatic movie available about the short lived coup and how real, People Power defeated the US-Venezuelan right wing and reclaimed their country.
FILMS START AT 7PM--BUT COME AT 6:30PM FOR PIZZA, SODAS, AND BEER!
