Environmentalist Eric McDavid was entrapped by the US Government, through a paid informant, to be made an example of to anyone who dares to dream of a positive change in this world. In May 2008, he was sentenced to 19 years and 7 months for a crime that was never committed.
Under the Bush administration's FBI and the Department of Justice, "radical" environmental activism has been named the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States. Many believe yesterday's "Red Scare" is today's "Green Scare." In memory of Bill Rodgers, who founded the Catalyst Infoshop and lost in the 2005 Operation Backfire Green Scare arrests, we are hosting the Support Eric tour.
LEARN MORE ABOUT ERIC'S CASE AND THE GREEN SCARE directly from Eric McDavid's family and friends. Many activists are being arrested in the United States as terrorists for crimes that were never committed. If it can happen to Eric, it can happen to anyone!
Sponsored by The Catalyst Infoshop, Peace and Justice Center and the Prescott College Law & Social Change class.
