So, after having a very nice political prisoner letter writing party over here a few Sundays ago, we've decided to hold an annual monthly series of political prisoner letter writing parties. For lack of a better name, we're calling this event First Sundays Political Prisoner Night. I think it sounds catchy. So we wanna keep this going while not over or under doing it.
Feel free to bring a dish over or pick something up from the store if you like. We'll continue to see about getting leftovers from Food Not Bombs. We'll also continue to look into getting more documentaries on the subject for these events. If you'd like to help us out in any way or have an idea, let us know.
The next First Sundays Political Prisoner Night will be December 7 at 5 PM. Political Prisoner Night will go on as long as it has to! Sorry, bad joke. We will also be working on making some posters and fliers to distribute throughout the community.
