Clever device to stop the photo radar bandits!!!!!
by Mirror Thursday, Dec. 04, 2008 at 11:54 AM

This device uses a simple mirror to keep the photo radar devices from correctly reading your license plate. I think it is very simple and clever

This is a license plate view from above.
Pretty simple you have seen one 100's of times.

Here a 2 sided mirror is attached vertically to the license plate.

When the license plate is vied from an angle the mirror prevents
the photo radar unit from reading 3 of the digits on the license plate.

The mirror reflects back the 3 digits of your license plate the photo radar camera
can see. These 3 digits are seen twice. Once how they actully are,
and once reflected backwards by the mirror.

When the license plate is views from directly behind it doesn't block any of the
characters on the license plate, because the mirror is only a 1/16 of an inch thick.

A pretty simple and clever device if you ask me.
