Leaving at 2:15pm on Sunday, December 7th Flagstaff Critical Mass took over sections of street throughout downtown and east Flag. Although it was cloudy and somewhat chilly, around 25 riders joined in the fun, expressing their rights to the road and celebrating the happiness of biking.
The ride weaved through Flagstaff, covering large portions of Butler, Route 66, and Fourth Street. In all there were no problems and no police hassle. Towards the end of the ride, one police cruiser followed the riders with its warning lights on although no stop was made.
It was a fun-filled day, enjoyed by all and we invite others to come join us. For more information, please contact NAU Peace & Justice or Flagstaff Food Not Bombs.
Next Saturday, December 14, Food Not Bombs is hosting a Really Really Free Market from 12 to 2pm. It is taking place at the Murdoch Community Center which is located at Butler and S. Agassiz in Flagstaff, AZ.
On Dec 20 and 21 the Free Market will be located at the Taala Hooghan Infoshop. 4th St. Flagstaff
In solidarity,
