In this two page letter Maricopa County Public Health Director Dr. Bob England sent on May 4, 2009 to all the parents with children in Maricopa County schools he says the government is powerless to stop the spread of swine flu!
He says
“How much the virus continues to spread is not in my hands – it’s in yours”
You mean after all the news articles in which the government said they were going to protect us from the evil, deadly swine flu now they finally admit they were lying and that the government is powerless to stop the flu?
In fact two paragraphs back Dr. Bob England seemed to try to assure us with the following lie that Maricopa County is somehow going to magically protect us from the evil swine flu.
Your Public Health Department is handling this new flu outbreak in the same way we handle any flu outbreak, only more diligently.
And again about 6 paragraphs down from where Dr. Bob England tells us the government can’t stop the flu he seems to lie again and try to assure us the government will protect us from the flu with this line of BS:
Lastly, I want to assure you that we are not taking this lightly, and we don’t want you to, either. All flu can be a serious disease for some people. Regular, seasonal flu and it’s complications kills and average of 36,000 people each year in this country
Yea sure! You can’t do anything to prevent the flu, but you assure us that acting diligently to prevent it. What BS!
Last but not least Arizona government spends about $5,000 and year to educate kids in the government run grade and high schools. Instead of getting our money worth from the government run schools Dr. Bob England expects parents to teach kids how to take precautions on how to avoid the flu as he goes on in his letter and orders parents to educate their kids instead of the government.
Dr. Bob England certainly proves that we are not getting our moneys worth for the money the government takes from us to run the Maricopa County Health Department and the Arizona government run public schools.
If a deadly pandemic ever actually does occur about the only thing you can count on the Maricopa County Health Department to do is to tell you after the fact that the deadly swine flu killed all the members of your family. But you would already know that! Some help!!!!
If George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were here they would say it is time for an armed revolution.
