Device to paint photo radar cameras and flashbulbs
by Photo radar sucks Friday, Jun. 05, 2009 at 2:28 PM

A handy dandy device I made to allow you to spray paint photo radar cameras and camera flashbulbs

The device is made out of a plastic tube large enought to hold a can of spray paint. A large piece of plastic pipe used for watering gardens would be ideal.

Near the bottom of the plastic tube two holes are drilled. This allows a bolt to be stuck thru the holes to hold the bottom of the spray paint can in place.

These holes can be seen in the "side view" drawing and the "front view" drawing.

On the top of the tube a door hindge or other hindge is placed.

The top of the hindge is attached to the tube and does not move.

The bottom of the hindge has a rope on it. WHen the rope is pulled on the bottom hindge pushes on the button that causes the spray paint can to release paint.

Two or more notches are cut into the tube. These notches allow you to use rubber bands or a cord to tie down the spray paint can so it does not move.

The spray paint can has to be held still so the paint always goes thru the notch cut into the front of the device which I will describe next.

On the front of the tube just below the hindge a hole is cut so the paint can pass from the spray paint can to the photo radar unit. This can be seen on the drawing labeled "front view"

I suspect some business that makes tools or equipment for painters sells a device like this. Althought I doubt they call it a photo radar paint gun.

I know they sell devices like this for survey teams that paint lines on the ground as they survey a site.

If you can get a long enought extension for those survey paint can holders they may work great as a photo radar camera painting device.

Last but not least I would say there is nothing wrong with commiting a criminal act like spray painting a photo radar bandit.

A photo radar device is just a tool government tyrants use to steal from us.
