Is Islam Responsible for the Ft. Hood Massacre?
by Barbara J. Stock Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at 3:02 PM

As the horror of the Fort Hood bloodbath was unfolding on American television sets, my first thought was, “Was it a Muslim?” If it makes anyone feel better, then call me an Islamaphobe. As it turns out, my first instinct was correct. If most people were honest with themselves, it was also their first thought.

Bits and pieces of information began to dribble out about Nidal Malik Hasan. Incorrect information flew in every direction. Such as: It must have been post-traumatic shock syndrome from his time in the war zone. No, he was never there. Well, then it must have been from hearing the horror stories of men who WERE in the war zone.

A family member swore that Hasan loved America but he had been “picked on” after 9/11 for being Muslim. Let’s all feel guilty that as he was enjoying the career paid for by the American taxpayer, as was his medical education, he heard a few harsh words after members of his religion attacked the country. But fat kids are picked on all the time and they don’t kill people.

Medical professionals have been paraded before the cameras giving their slant of why this man did what he did. Fear of going into a war zone was a popular excuse. ''He must have had some underlying mental instability that started years ago and he just snapped.”

Actually, the latter is closer to the truth than they realize. He was suffering from a long-standing mental instability- -and it is called Islam.

Americans must realize that Muslim children, especially the boys, are taught from birth that Islam must dominate the world. If someone refuses to convert to Islam, it is justified to kill or enslave them. The mere fact that someone doesn’t believe in Islam is reason to wage war on the unbeliever. Most American Muslims are taught that Islam comes first. Muslims have no country; they have only Islam. Nidal Malik Hasan eventually fell into the same camp as Bin Laden, only on a smaller scale.

The “prime directive” of Islam put Hasan in an impossible situation and mentally, he could not deal with it. In the end, Islam won.

Americans need to stop and think about the events of the last few days. One Muslim caused absolute panic and pandemonium. Thirteen good and true Americans lost their lives and over thirty people were wounded in the span of three minutes at the hands of only one Muslim with two handguns.

As most people were dumbstruck, make no mistake, Muslims all over the world were laughing. Look at what just one Islamic warrior can do to the great America. How weak Americans must be. Look at them crying and running in fear. What an easy target America has become--again. Listen to them making excuses for Hasan so as not to offend Islam while ignoring the obvious. Hasan will now join the ranks of Islamic heroes.

Hasan knew his career in the American military was in direct conflict with the teachings of Islam. The American military is not about assuring that Islam will dominate the world, it is about stopping Islam from dominating the world.

Imam Mohammed Abdullahi told the world that Islam was not responsible for Hasan. "Islam doesn't command anybody to do something like that," said Shaikh Khamis. I beg to differ. The Qur’an is full of commands to do exactly what Hasan did. Islam is absolutely responsible for what Hasan did.

Qur'an (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth…"

Qur'an (9:123) - "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness."

There should be no doubt that Hasan did not expect to survive the attack. He shouted the obligatory “Allahu Akbar!” as he killed. He had given away all his worldly goods. Hasan fully expected to be relaxing with a bunch of virgins that Allah would gratefully provide to him for his great and brave act of gunning down unarmed Americans and causing near hysteria on the largest military base in the heart of America. He killed in the name of Allah and Islam.

One of the most interesting aspects of this Muslim named Nidal Malik Hasan was his comparison of Muslim suicide bombers to American soldiers who had thrown themselves on grenades to save their fellow soldiers. Hason believed that all those brave Muslim martyr-bombers were doing was killing American soldiers to save their fellow Muslims.

In the twisted minds of many Muslims, the simple statistic that their “heroic” suicide bombers rarely target the enemy but instead kill fellow Muslims escapes them. Bombers have attacked Muslim weddings, ice cream shops jammed with Muslim children, playgrounds, and busy markets teaming with Muslim shoppers. They have killed fellow Muslims on their way to Muslim shrines to pray. Suicide bombers have also killed innocent civilians on trains, buses, and subways all over the world. But, remember, Islam teaches that in war, there is no such thing as a “civilian.”

Did Hasan forget about the Muslim woman, who, on her husband’s orders, sat with the Muslim women, small children, and babies at a Muslim wedding in Egypt and tried to detonate the bomb she was wearing? Fortunately, it malfunctioned and while her husband blew the wedding party to bits, at least the children were spared. The woman had little remorse. She just did what her husband and Islam told her to do. There was not a single American soldier near that wedding.

While many search for some complicated, psychological answer to the question, “Why did he do it?” the answer is really very simple. Islamic teaching instructed him to do it. How could he compare American soldiers to suicide bombers? That too is easy, he just refused to believe that Muslims slaughter fellow Muslims every day. After all, Islam forbids such things so it must all be a lie. A true Muslim never lets the facts get in the way.

A spokesman for CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) was quick to get his face on television condemning the murders. Don’t believe him, not for a second. Understand this: It is mandatory for Muslims to lie to the enemy. Lying to infidels is expected and sanctioned. He said what was expected of him and nothing more. He “calmed the masses” back into believing this was the solitary act of a madman. It was not the act of a madman, but a devote Muslim carrying out the teachings of Islam. After all, one of CAIR’s mission statements is to replace the Constitution with the Qu’ran. Can that be accomplished without violence? Unlikely.

Ponder this fact: There are approximately six million Muslims in America. If just one half of one percent of them decide to act as Hasan did, that is 30,000 Muslims going on a one-man rampage. If they are as successful as Hasan was and manage to kill 13 Americans, that is a staggering 390,000 dead Americans. Hasan was not the first and he will not be the last Muslim to kill Americans right here on American soil.

One also must ask, why was this man even allowed to remain in the military after his outlandish anti-American comments? Was this not ''conduct unbecoming of an officer''? Was it because no one wanted to be accused of being anti-Muslim? Was it that no one wanted to be accused of “picking” on Hasan the Muslim? Are there “hands-off” orders in the military concerning Muslims? This man waved so many red flags that a blind man could have felt the breeze, yet, though he was being “observed,” he was not stopped. Now, thirteen good Americans are dead.

One person stated that Hasan told him that he was a Muslim first and an American second. Hasan was born and raised here in America yet the pull of Islam was so strong that he was willing to kill for Islam and to die for Islam. How many more Hasans are out there, waiting for their chance to become martyrs for Islam?

I once made the statement that there is a terrorist inside every Muslim, planted there at birth by Islam. It’s just a matter of which is stronger, their true instinct of what is right and wrong, or the teachings of Islam. Millions upon millions of Muslims know that murder in the name of Islam is wrong and will not do it. But there are many that will, and it only takes a few to cause havoc and death on a massive scale. The problem isn’t Muslims, the problem is the violent teachings of Islam and those who follow those violent commands
