For those who are going to be involved in the protests against SB1070
on July 29th, the High Gain Comms Group has setup a number of ways participants can stay connected and share news and report-backs from the streets.
1) Our SMS txt-blaster is setup, you can subscribe to receive automatic
updates, alerts, and news from the protests by txting "no1070" to the number 25278 (BLAST)
You will receive a text asking you to confirm your subscription and you'll be set.
Throughout the day, you will receive updates. Stopping is just as easy as starting. Simply txt "STOP" to BLAST (25278).
2) We will be working with Arizona Indymedia and Free Radio Chukshon to bring you independent coverage of the ongoings.. please see arizona.indymedia.org
for more detailed news and updates. and tune into the live stream on freeradiochukshon.org .. there is also word on the streets that FRC will have themselves
back on the air at 90.9FM but that report has not been confirmed as of Tuesday night.
3) There has been a Twitter account setup.. follow our twittering at: no1070
4) Our goal is to have as much verified and accurate information as possible coming from the streets, so we are asking protest participants to call or txt to 520-262-4216, dispatchers will be standing by to receive alerts, info and exciting news, which will then be sent out via the methods above.
