PAN to Supporters to Rally
by Abraham Ellison Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004 at 9:36 AM

Supporters of Protect Arizona Now to rally in Phoenix on Wednesday, October 27, 2004.

Protect Arizona Now leader Kathy Mckee has called on supporters of the anti-immigrant proposition to gather on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at the Old Courthouse - 125 W. Washington St. in Phoenix.

The anti-immigrant rally scheduled to start at 1:30 pm is being held as a last-ditch effort to save the bigoted Proposition 200. The initiative seeks to force state, county and local officials to take on the role of immigration officials in Arizona.

Mckee told supporters in an email communication that "...if ever you took off work, rescheduled a meeting, or change your schedule, this hearing is it." McKee goes on to state "There will undoubtedly be a huge media presence -- probably that last before the election, so let's do it right . . . or start Spanish lessons."

McKee's anti-immigrant proposition has been under fire since it was revealed that a known white supremacist heads the national advisory board. (see http://www.newcomm.org for more information).

All those committed to human and civil rights should show McKee that Arizona is too great to hate!
