Over 400 people marched in Tucson to protest the Iraq War and demand “Bring The Troops Home Now”. A diverse crowd, led by the indigenous Danza Mexica Cuauhtémoc collective, chanted anti-war slogans as they marched down Speedway Blvd to the midtown Military Recruitment Center. The anti-war crowd filled two city blocks as they stood across from the Recruitment Center, vastly outnumbering the 40-50 pro-war demonstrators that had gathered there. The anti-war marchers were met with honks of support, raised fists and other signs of support from passing motorists along the entire route of the march.
