We are so excited to be celebrating our one year anniversary this month! We couldn't have made it this far and we definitely can't survive without your support so please come to our events, check out our new books or just hang out and keep us company!

All events are free unless otherwise listed. Donations are always
accepted! Please contact us if you are interested in hosting an event or meeting.
We need volunteers to help keep this community space alive!
If you're sick of seeing green spaces bulldozed and big boxes go up
support and sustain the community based alternatives!
Specifically we need people to staff, put on or help with events, do
outreach, organize books, copy 'zines, table at other events and more!
Volunteer as little or as much as you like.
Come check out our 'zines, CDs, DVDs, Zapatista coffee & honey, and books on Indigenous issues, Feminism, Anarchism, and more...

Tues. 7 - Volunteer Meeting at 5pm // Movie Night - "The World According to Monsanto" - 7pm
Volunteer at the infoshop! Help support and sustain this community space!
"The World According to Monsanto": Monsanto is the world leader in genetically modified organisms (GMOs), as well as one of the most controversial corporations in industrial history. Based on a painstaking investigation, The World According to Monsanto puts together the pieces of the company’s history, calling on hitherto unpublished documents and numerous first-hand accounts.
Thurs. 9 - Outside the Indigenous Lens: Zapatista Autonomous Videomaking - 6:30pm - Donations accepted
Chiapas Media Project (CMP)/Promedios Founding Director, Alexandra Halkin will screen videos produced by the Zapatista communities based in Chiapas, Mexico and discuss her experiences working with the Zapatistas. The Zapatista communities have produced award winning videos on a wide range of subjects that include: traditional music, struggle for their land, water rights, traditional medicine, women's fight for equality and militarization. The Zapatistas have now been producing videos for over 10 years supported in part by CMP/Promedios and their work has been seen worldwide at universities, film festivals, and broadcast TV.
Fri. 10 - T-shirt Making Silkscreening Workshop - 5pm
Sat. 11 - "Columbus Didn't Discover Us" Movie and Discussion - 5pm
We'll be showing a movie and having a discussion about Indigenous Struggles in the Southwest.
Head to Denver, Colorado if you can to protest the KKKolumbus Day parade! http://www.transformcolumbusday.org
Sun. 12 - (Infoshop Closed) Celebrate Indigenous People's Day!
We'll have flyers and other outreach materials available from Oct 1st-12th addressing KKKolumbus Day that you can pick up and distribute throughout town.
Tues. 14 - Movie Night - Counter Recruitment in Flagstaff! Screening of the Movie "Sir! No Sir!" and Discussion - 7pm
Folks will talk about military recruitment issues and what you can do to help counter recruitment in Flagstaff. Presented with NAU Peace & Justice!
Wed. 15 - Banner Making - 6:30pm
Come help make banners for a local issue or make a banner of your own! We got material and paint.
Thurs. 16 - Anartea Party! - 6:00pm

Fri. 17 - Outta Your Backpack Media Benefit Film Screening & DVD Release! - 7pm
19 short films made by Native Youth! This is a benefit for OYBMedia. Purchase our newly released DVD at this event to support our projects!
Sat. 18 - D.I.Y. Haircuts! at 4-6pm - Rock Band Infoshop Fundraiser at 7pm
DIY Haircuts and Rock Band the video game... fun times!
Wed. 22 - Pinata Making! 4pm
Come help make pinata's for a "Youth of the Freaks" benefit!
Thurs. 23 - Stop Police Brutality! Movie Screening & Discussion - 5pm
Short videos from the ACLU on knowing your rights, a Copwatch video as well as discussion on holding police accountable in our community.
Fri. 24 - Vegan/Vegetarian Potluck & Folk/Punk Show! with Mike XVX & more! - 7pm
